SynopsisThe CHALLENGE:Creating a bold bartop with an extremely durable surface in a seamless extended design.
The PLAY:The design team at Huma was initially considering glass for the standout surface in the Revolution lounge to meet the needs of a high energy club in Las Vegas. But, the aesthetic and durability of the 3form. Chroma product arrest their attention. The ethereal luminosity matched the romantic, yet edgy, feel of the Cirque du Soleil club. The renewable matte finish ensured that the product would withstand the demands of the club. An important design criteria was to create the lure of a long catwalk like surface without any appearance of seaming or joining. 3form. worked long in production to develop new fabrication techniques in order to achieve this flawless look.
The RESULT:The bar of the Revolution Lounge is surreal and strong, just like the Cirque du Soleil.
